A Special Announcement from the Promise Players Board of Directors:
It is with mixed feelings that we need to announce the cancellation of the upcoming Spring 2012 musical "Life is But a Dream".
Despite having held auditions, and after much consideration and various attempts to avoid this decision, it became clear that vital roles would remain unfilled. Without a full cast, this musical could not be adequately produced.
There is a peace of mind about this decision. There are times when rest is needed. The Promise Players have been staging 2 productions per year since 1995. We have been able to contribute over $100,000 to local charity, which has benefitted our brothers and sisters in various manners. God has been so good. Now, it appears that God may be directing the Promise Players to a time of rest and rejuvenation. We will be back in the Fall - rested and ready to go.
